Lady Cats drop games
to CRA, Ridgefield

Crowley's Ridge Academy swept Walnut Ridge in senior volleyball action on Thursday at Paragould. Scores of the games were 25-21, 25-19, 25-23.
For Walnut Ridge, Katie Lewis had seven kills, and Daniel Vaughn had five blocks. Hannah Massey was 13-of-13 from the service line, and Anna Bland was 11-of-11 serving.
The Lady Bobcats are now 7-6 in 3A-Northeast play and 11-6 overall.
Walnut Ridge won a junior high match 25-23, 9-25, 25-19.
Ridgefield Christian
Ridgefield Christian defeated the Lady Bobcats in four games on Oct. 4 at Walnut Ridge.
Ridgefield won the first game 25-9, but the Lady Cats came back to win the second game 25-23. Ridgefield won the third game 25-19, then closed out the match with a 25-11 win in the fourth game.
Lewis had four blocks and seven kills. Caroline Kelley was 12-of-12 serving, and Ashlyn Cothern had nine assists.
Walnut Ridge won a junior high match 25-14, 25-20.
