Lady Cats fall to Piggott, CRA

Piggott's Lady Mohawks swept Walnut Ridge in senior volleyball action on Thursday at Piggott. Game scores were 25-17, 25-20, 25-24.

For Walnut Ridge, Katie Lewis had six kills and two blocks. Ashlyn Cothern finished with seven assists. Caroline Kelley and Hannah Massey each had seven digs. Brittney Dobbs served four aces.

The Lady Bobcats are now 4-3 in 3A-Northeast conference play and 6-3 overall.

Piggott won a senior B game 25-10.

Crowley's Ridge Academy defeated the Lady Bocats on Sept. 13 at Sharum Gymnasium. Scores of the games were 25-9, 25-11, 25-18.

For Walnut Ridge, Kelley was 11-of-11 serving, with two aces and had three kills, while Lewis had three kills.
