Hoxie drops game to Highland
The Rebels scored the game's first points on Stowers' 38-yard pass to Ethan Hoppe with 9:33 to play in the first quarter. Stowers added a four-yard touchdown run with 6:49 to play to boost Highland's lead to 12-0.
Highland struck again in the opening period when Michael Copeland connected with Garrett Sublett for a 45-yard score to push their lead to 19-0.
