The free concert will be held a block north of the Main and Second Street intersection, at the site of the annual Iron Mountain Festival.
Musical performances begin at 1 p.m. with J.R. Rogers and the All Stars. Memphis singer Nancy Apple takes the stage around 2 p.m., with rockabilly band Stunning Cunning to perform around 3 p.m.

Truck hits WR Police Department
A pickup truck drove into the Walnut Ridge Police Department on Southeast Front Street Tuesday morning, resulting in the death of the driver and injuries to Officer Robert Rice, who was in the building at the time of the collision.continued...
Flat tax approved to repair levee
Following floods in late April that damaged homes and crops in Randolph and Lawrence counties when a levee system built to protect them was breached, landowners in the Running Water Levee District met on Friday to decide how to pay for repairs to the levee. Lawrence County landowners met in Walnut Ridge following Randolph County's meeting in Pocahontas earlier in the day.continued...
