S-H adds teachers

Sloan-Hendrix School District has two new teachers for the 2011-12 school year.

Burton Winston of Walnut Ridge is teaching high school math. A graduate of Williams Baptist College with an education degree in middle level math and science, he is a first-year teacher. He is a native of Newport, and he and his wife, Wendy, have a 12-year-old daughter, Cortney.

Jennifer Dail of Ravenden, also a first-year teacher, is teaching fifth grade math and science and sixth grade math. A native of Delaplaine, she has a bachelor's degree from WBC. She and her husband, Scotty, have a son, Colton.
