Education-related construction
projects move forward

Several education-related construction projects in Lawrence County are progressing rapidly this summer. Building projects are underway at the Northeast Arkansas Education Cooperative, Sloan-Hendrix School, Walnut Ridge High School campus and at Williams Baptist College.

Durden is new FCS agent

For Ashley Durden, a native of Eudora, being selected as the new Extension agent for family and consumer sciences in Lawrence County is a dream come true.

New office for district court open

Expenses for establishing a new office for the district court clerk were approved at Monday night's Quorum Court meeting.

School board filing
period opens Friday

The filing period for school board elections will open Friday at noon and continue through next Friday, July 22, at noon.
