Grandparents' corner

Garrett Williams (from left), three, Madison Williams, five, Eva Williams, four, and Shawn Fry, four, are the grandchildren of Angela Sanders of Imboden.

Shawn is the son of Doyle and Pat Guilliams of Ravenden.

Madison, Eva and Garrett are the children on Junior and Ashlie Williams of Paragould. They are also the grandchildren of Danny and Sandra Garrett and Sharon Williams, all of Paragould, and the great-grandchildren of Doyle and Pat Guilliams of Ravenden.

Frankly speaking...

Walnut Ridge and Lawrence County has lost one of its most outstanding and highly regarded citizens with the passing of Jimmy Snapp.

He spent most of his adult life as a Ford car dealer for Snapp Motor Co., and his name was synonymous with Ford in Northeast Arkansas. One comment about Jimmy was that despite his many years in business, no one had anything but positive comments to make about him.
