All-Star week begins

The week kicked off with baseball and softball games on Monday. Lawrence County was represented on the East team in the softball game by Hillcrest High School's Samantha Blevins.
The East and West teams split the double header with the West team winning the first game 4-0 and the East team taking the nightcap 12-5.
Lawrence County will also be represented in the final game of the week, as the East and West football teams face off Thursday night at Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
Walnut Ridge High School's Dallin Ginn and Preston Matthews were both selected to play in the game, and Bobcat head coach Larry Treadway will serve as an assistant coach for the East team.
