Hillcrest ladies receive honorsFour members of the Hillcrest Lady Screamin' Eagles softball team have received recognition for their play during the 2011 season. Kellie Beasley and Samantha Blevins each received All-Conference, All-Region and All-State honors, while Lindsey Crews and Sarah Saffell were named to the All-Conference team.Blevins, a senior, posted a 1.91 ERA from the pitcher's circle. She allowed 117 hits and struck out 180 batters in 117 innings of work. At the plate, she batted 15-for-60 with 14 RBIs. Blevins was selected to play in the East-West Arkansas High School Coaches Association All-Star games on June 20 in Fayetteville. Beasley, a junior, batted 27-for-56 with four homers, for .464 average and drove in 28 runs. She has been nominated to attend the Rising Juniors All-Star games in Conway this summer.
