LawCo. students lead CRA at StateNathan HibbardStaff Writer Four students from Lawrence County led the Crowley's Ridge Academy track and field team at the 1A State Meet Thursday in Acorn. Sully Bigger tallied the most points for the Falcons who finished seventh overall, and Audrey Jane Hicks was high point for the 14th place Lady Falcons. Bigger took second in the 3200-meter run and also recorded a personal-best time of 4:57 on the way to a sixth-place finish in the 1600. He ran the anchor leg on the third-place 3200-meter relay team. Hicks claimed second in the 3200 with a personal best 13:38 and also came in fourth in the 1600. Matt Wall came in fifth in the 300-meter hurdles and sixth in the 110-meter hurdles. Ashlyn Abbott took sixth in the 400 meters. Bigger is the son of Jim and Dana Bigger. Hicks is the daughter of Joe and Melanie Hicks. Abbott is the daughter of Daniel and Angie Abbott. Wall is the son of Steve and Christine Wall. All are from Walnut Ridge. Bigger and Wall were also instrumental in CRA's district championship win April 28, while Hicks and Abbott led the way to the Lady Falcons' second-place district finish.
