SHHS honor grads toldSloan-Hendrix High School Principal Clifford Rorex has announced honor graduates for the Class of 2011.Caitlyn Difani, daughter of Derrick and Cindy Difani of Pocahontas, is this year's valedictorian. She has a 4.00 grade point average and plans to attend Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. Salutatorian is Katelyn Ponder, daughter of Gene and Terrie Ponder of Imboden. She has a 3.94 GPA and plans to attend the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. Other honor graduates are: Rachel Jones, daughter of Tony and Kathy Jones of Ravenden; Kathryn Hall, daughter of Jeff Hall of Hardy and Valerie Hall of Williford; Hannah Medley, daughter of Tommy and Tracy Medley of Imboden; Will King, son of Stephen and Jesse King of Imboden; Maegan Austin, daughter of Terral and Julia Manning of Imboden and Tommy Astin of Olve, Kan. Also: Traci Donner, daughter of Mark and Lori Donner of Pocahontas; Erika Mitchell, daughter of Anthony and Patsy Mitchell of Black Rock; Cierra Wrench, daughter of Mark and Julia Wrench of Wirth; and Josh Bagwell, son of James Bagwell of Williford. The graduation ceremony is set for May 13 at 7 p.m. in the Bill McCurley Gymnasium.
