Hoxie High School
names honor grads

David White, principal at Hoxie High School, has announced honor graduates for the 2010-11 school year.

Valedictorians are Amber Scott, daughter of Denise Scott and Allen Scott, both of Hoxie; Leslee Parrish, daughter of Angie Tidwell of Jonesboro and Shawn Parrish of Hoxie; and Coy Yasler, son of Douglass and Bonnie Yasler of Ravenden. Kelsey Lewis, daughter of Ricia Lewis and Donnie Barnes of Hoxie is salutatorian.

High honor graduates are: Karina Mashburn, daughter of Terry and Rie Mashburn of Walnut Ridge; Ty Stormes, son of Junior and Mary Stormes of Walnut Ridge; Garrett Hart, son of Brian and Teressa Hart of Hoxie; and Jonathon Vankirk, son of Jerry and Lisa Vankirk of College City.

Other honor graduates include: Jennifer Alls, daughter of Jimmy and Rhonda Alls of Delaplaine; Amanda Whaley, daughter of Alan and Sarah Whaley of Clover Bend; Drake Bullard, son of Noel and Shane Bullard of Hoxie; Derek French, son of Darren and Lisa French of O'Kean.

Also: Katelyn Ellis, daughter of Michael and Janet Atkinson of Hoxie; Kelli Anglin, daughter of Robert and Michelle Beard of Walnut Ridge and Freddy and Rebecca Ream of Imboden; Autumn Simpkins, daughter of John and Laura Simpkins of Sedgwick; Nikki Tribble, son of Bobby Gail Tribble and Glen Lee Tribble, both of Walnut Ridge; Jessica Boothe, daughter of Jeff and Christy Boothe of Walnut Ridge; and Raven Davis, daughter of Randy and Brande Davis of Hoxie.

Graduation is set for May 12 at 7 p.m. at the Robert W. Hicks Gymnasium.
