Hillcrest boys beat Greyhounds

Dylan Wooten had three hits, including a three-run home run, to lead the Hillcrest Screamin' Eagles past the Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds 10-5 in high school baseball action on Thursday at Imboden.

Wooten also started on the mound and allowed just two earned runs while recording 10 strikeouts to earn the complete-game victory.

Also for Hillcrest, Zach Doyle had two hits and scored two runs, and Trevor Morgan scored three runs.

Jordan Johnson slugged a grand slam for the Greyhounds. Chase Dejournette took the loss, allowing four earned runs in six innings of work.
