WR FFA team advances
Logan Brady, Celea Jones and Alex Teel qualified for the state forestry contest by placing fifth in the district. Brady led the team by placing as third highest individual in the competition. The state competition will be held in Hot Springs this June. Other team and individual results from the district contest are: ag mechanics team, 18th, with Jonathan Jones placing 22nd individually; agronomy team, ninth, with Josh Sands placing 11th individually; floriculture team, 16th, with Shelby Fields placing 32nd individually; livestock evaluation team, 16th, with Hunter Yates placing 37th individually. Austin Kennon is the WRHS agriculture instructor and FFA advisor.
