Hoxie teams compete at regionals

Hoxie's senior high basketball teams competed in the Class 3A Region 3 Tournament at Bergman last week. Both the Mustangs' and Lady Mustangs' seasons ended with first-round losses to teams from Valley Springs.

The Lady Mustangs' were defeated 71-27 on Thursday.

Cayley Rosson led Hoxie with seven points.

The Lady Mustangs finished the season with a 17-8 overall record.

The Hoxie boys' season ended with a 59-25 loss to Valley Springs on Wednesday.

Coy Yasler led the Mustangs with 13 points.
