Hoxie athletes place at meetAthletes from Hoxie High School competed in a weight meet Feb. 22 at Gosnell High School.Marion won the team competition with 101 points, followed by Gosnell with 74. Hoxie finished in third place with 66 points, and Blytheville was fourth with 54 points. Individual results for the Mustangs were: 132 lb. class: Robert Posey, third, James Prater, fifth, and Colby Clark, sixth. 148 lb. class: Eric Moore, third. 181 lb. class: Colton Brown, fourth. 198 lb. class: Kyle Boyd, third. 220 lb. class: Tyler Clement, second, Sebastian Irvin, third. 242 lb. class: Ryan Troutman, second. 256 & up class: Jackson Russell, first, Ricky Adams, third.
