
WR CAMPUS BREAKS GROUND FOR BUILDING PROJECT ~ The Lawrence County School District held a groundbreaking Thursday to officially begin a $4.6 million construction project for a new science, fine arts and P.E./field house complex on the Walnut Ridge campus, just south of the high school. The expected completion date is 12 to 14 months. Present were (from left): Gerald Hartsfield, Ramsons Construction Co. superintendent; Danny McDaniel, president of Ramsons; Kyle Cook and Jerry Brackett, architects with Brackett Krennerich; Charles Lee, Walnut Ridge High School principal; John Bland, Pat Roby, Ron Ingram, Terry Kelley and Joe Penn, board members; and Terry Belcher, superintendent of the Lawrence County School District.
