Black Rock posts wins

The Black Rock Zebras recorded a 62-34 homecoming victory over the Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds Friday night.

The Zebras led 34-21 at halftime and broke the game open in the third quarter, outscoring Sloan-Hendrix 22-7 in the period to move out to a 56-28 advantage.

For Black Rock, Tadd Fore had 13 points. Khris Foster and Joe Paul Carey each scored 12 points, and Sam Clem added nine.

Daniel Rowsey led the Greyhounds with 11 points.

Senior girls

The Black Rock Lady Zebras defeated Sloan-Hendrix 71-42 on Friday night at Black Rock.
