BR, Hillcrest split games

The Black Rock Zebras defeated Hillcrest 57-52 in senior boys basketball action on Dec. 7 at Black Rock.
Joe Paul Carey led Black Rock with 17 points, followed by Khris Foster with 15. Tadd Fore had eight points, and Hunter Horton grabbed 14 rebounds.
For Hillcrest, Dylan Wooten tallied 22 points, and Trevor Morgan had 16. Hunter Nunnally and Zach Doyle added four points apiece.

Eight Hoxie Mustang football players have received post-season recognition for their play during the 2010 season. Four Mustangs received All-State honors and eight were named to the 3A-3 All-Conference team.
