Corinne Fletcher, Powhatan Historic State Park superintendent, said the materials that were donated to the NEARA by the Lawrence County Historical Society were moved Monday and Tuesday from their temporary housing at the Arkansas State University library.
In addition to state park and NEARA employees, several from the Arkansas History Commission assisted with moving the materials.
Furniture, filing cabinets and shelving have also been put into place, and other records pertaining to Lawrence County that were previously stored in Little Rock have also been moved to the facility.
