The Black Rock Zebras won the Williams Baptist Tournament for the second consecutive year. BR boys claim second consecutive WBC title

The Black Rock Zebras defeated Riverside 49-41 in the finals of the boys bracket of the Williams Baptist College Tournament Saturday night. It is the second consecutive WBC title for the Zebras.
The Pocahontas Lady Redskins defeated Corning 75-65 to capture the girls title.
Finals
BR - Riverside
Tadd Fore led Black Rock with 16 points, while Khris Foster scored 12, and Joe Paul Carey added nine.
Alteeno Sain and Cole Winford each had 10 points for Riverside.
Pocahontas - Corning
The Lady Redskins, last year's runners-up, held off a fourth-quarter rally by Corning to earn the win.
Ashlyn Bigger scored 21 points, and Hillary Hausman had 19 for Pocahontas.
Semifinals (Friday)
BR - Pocahontas boys
Black Rock defeated Pocahontas 43-33 in boys semifinal action.
Foster had 15 points, and Carey added 11 for the Zebras.
Riverside - Hillcrest boys
Riverside moved into the finals with a 68-58 win over Hillcrest in the other boys semifinal contest.
Corning - Hillcrest girls
Hillcrest's Lady Screamin' Eagles fell to Corning 48-35 in a girls semifinal game.
Pocahontas - Southside girls
Pocahontas edged Southside 45-39 in the semifinal game of the girls bracket.
Hausman led the Lady Skins with 13 points.
Thursday
BR - Tuckerman boys
Black Rock advanced with a 79-45 rout of Tuckerman.
Hunter Horton had 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Zebras. Fore scored 16 points, and Tyler Newell had 15. Foster finished with 10 points and six
steals.
Hillcrest -Viola girls
The Lady Eagles moved on with a 52-43 victory over the Viola Lady Longhorns.
Mackenzie Nunnally had 22 points for Hillcrest.
Riverside - Southside boys
The Riverside Rebels slipped past Southside 53-52 in boys action on Thursday.
Sain had 21 points for the Rebels, while Kevin Jackson had 18 points for Southside.
Pocahontas -Viola boys
Alex Keiffer scored 22 points to lead the Pocahontas boys to a 61-47 victory over Viola. Austin Gardner had 15 points for Viola.
Tuesday, Nov. 30
Hillcrest - Hoxie boys
The Hillcrest Screamin' Eagles defeated the Hoxie Mustangs 52-44 in boys action on Tuesday.
Zach Doyle led Hillcrest with 16 points, and Dylan Wooten added 14.
Zach Crisler led the Mustangs with 19 points.
Pocahontas - WR girls
Walnut Ridge got 35 points from Ashley Baker, but the Lady Bobcats fell to top-seeded Pocahontas 73-55.
Haley Tyler led Pocahontas with 19 points.
Corning - Hoxie girls
Corning's Lady Bobcats edged Hoxie 62-59 behind a 24-point performance from Whitney Woodard.
The Lady Mustangs were led by Cayley Rosson with 24 points, and Autumn Nelson with 10.
Southside - Marmaduke girls
The Southside Lady Southerners defeated Marmaduke 41-35.
Danielle Jaco led Southside with 17 points, while Whitley Boggs had nine for the Lady Greyhounds.
Monday, Nov. 29
Pocahontas - WR boys
Jacob Callahan had 20 points to lead the Pocahontas Redskins past Walnut Ridge 59-29.
Richie Ward and Tyler Dickson each had eight points for the Bobcats.
Tuckerman - Marmaduke boys
The Tuckerman Bulldogs needed overtime to slip past Marmaduke 78-77.
Justin Watkins led Tuckerman with 27 points, and Cade Niswonger had 16.
Marmaduke was led by Morgan Hawley with 34 points and 15 rebounds.
Tournament honors
The All-Tournament teams, as selected by a vote of the tournament coaches, are as follows:
Boys: Carey, Fore and Foster, Black Rock; Sain, Logan Meurer and Jake Love, Riverside; Austin Gardner, Viola; Justin Watkins, Tuckerman; Jacob Callahan and Alex Keiffer, Pocahontas; Dylan Wooten, Hillcrest; Zach Crisler, Hoxie.
Girls: Hausman and Tyler, Pocahontas; Chelsey Kilbreath and Whitney Woodard, Corning; Micaela West, Maynard; Ashley Baker, Walnut Ridge; Maggie Carlile, Southside; Michaela Thompson, Viola; Boggs, Marmaduke; Rosson, Hoxie; Samantha Blevins and Nunnally, Hillcrest.
The Sportsmanship Awards went to the Southside boys and the Hillcrest girls.
