Hoxie to host homecoming

Hoxie High School will host its basketball homecoming on Friday as the Hoxie Mustangs take on the Corning Bobcats at 5 p.m.

Senior maids are Leslee Parrish, daughter of Shawn Parrish of Hoxie and Angie Parrish of Jonesboro; Lindsey Woods, daughter of Mark and Karla Woods of Pocahontas; and Autumn Simpkins, daughter of John and Laura Simpkins of Sedgwick.

Hali Pratt, daughter of Robert Pratt of Hoxie and Karen Stewart of Mountain View, is junior maid.

Sophomore maid is Sarah Green, daughter of Jimmy and Valarie Green of Walnut Ridge.

Courtney Sears, freshman maid, is the daughter of Tom and Colleen Sears of Walnut Ridge.

Pages are Lily Lewis, daughter of Alvin and Deanna Lewis of Smithville, and Ashton Davis, son of Shane and Beth Davis of Walnut Ridge.

The homecoming ceremony and crowning of the queen will take place between the junior and senior boys basketball game. A seventh-grade boys game will precede the junior high game.
