Lady Mustangs beat Brookland

The Hoxie Lady Mustangs outlasted Brookland for a 58-48 victory on Nov. 22 at Brookland.

Hoxie trailed 18-12 after one quarter, but outscored the Lady Bearcats 19-11 in the second period to take a 31-29 lead into halftime. The Lady Mustangs continued to hold a small 43-41 lead entering the final period.

Cayley Rosson led Hoxie with 26 points and 12 rebounds, while Neely Ragsdell added 10 points.

The Brookland junior high girls defeated Hoxie 39-32 in overtime. Brookland also won a seventh-grade game 30-17.
