WR drops first-round game
Walnut Ridge got on the board first when quarterback Payton Poole scored on a 10-yard run with 46 seconds to play in the first quarter. The extra point attempt failed, leaving the Bobcats with a 6-0 lead.
Parkers Chapel answered late in the second quarter when Randy Taylor scored from two yards out with just seven seconds to play in the half. The extra point was good and the Trojans took a 7-6 lead into the locker room at halftime.
