Early voting scheduled
in Walnut Ridge runoff

Early voting in the runoff election for Walnut Ridge alderman for Ward 4 Position 2 will begin on Monday, according to County Clerk Tina Stowers.

Ed Lawson and Gary Kearby qualified for the runoff, with Election Day set for Nov. 23. Early voting will be in the County Clerk's Office from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and will end on Monday, Nov. 22.

On Nov. 23, voting will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Walnut Ridge Community Center.

Hart elected county coroner

Everett Hart was elected as county coroner during the General Election. He received 3,814 votes. Write-in candidate Chris Warden received 120 votes.
