Hillcrest girls earn victories

Hillcrest defeated Rural Special 47-38 in senior girls basketball on Friday night at Lynn.

The Lady Screamin' Eagles led 17-8 at the end of the first quarter, 22-15 at halftime and 35-24 after three quarters.

Lindsey Crews led Hillcrest with 12 points, while Mackenzie Nunnally and Kelli Beasley each had 10.

The Lady Screamin' Eagles improved to 4-0 on the season.

The Hillcrest junior girls defeated Rural Special 36-21.
