Manley to speak
Manley, who is recognized as an aviation aftermarket industry expert, founded UAM in 1993. He attended Middle Tennessee State and Memphis State before starting his career at FedEx. While at FedEx, he was exposed to several areas of maintenance and engineering, and his ability to find previously overlooked opportunities led him to create a brand of his own.
Universal Asset Management has disassembled over 175 airplanes and grown to a professional staff of more than 50 people. Headquartered in Memphis, UAM facilities, including the Walnut Ridge plant, total 150,000 square feet.
Manley often speaks at industry conferences and leads seminars and workshops at industry gatherings.
Reservations for the banquet are needed by Wednesday, Nov. 10. The cost is $15 per person. Highlights of the Chamber's year will also be shared, and awards will be presented.
For more information, or to make a reservation call the Chamber office at 886-3232.
