Dylan Wooten represented Hillcrest High School in the Class 1A State Golf Tournament at Heber Springs on Oct. 6.
Wooten shot a 106 to finish 29th out of 67 competitors in the boys individual event.
Preston Harmon of Izard County Consolidated placed second with a score of 76, two strokes behind Cameron McKinney of Ridgefield Christian.
Harmon is the son of David and Stacey Harmon of Horseshoe Bend, who are both graduates of Black Rock High School. He is the grandson of Everett Harmon of Black Rock and Lowell and Bonnie Richey of Powhatan.
