Hoxie golfers place at meets

The Hoxie High School boys and girls golf teams were in action Monday at the Osceola Municipal Golf Course.

Manila won the boys match with a score of 110. Hoxie finished second with a 138. Zach Crisler led the Mustangs with a 40.

Rivercrest won the girls competition with a team score of 146. The Hoxie girls were second with a score of 202. Sarah Greene shot a 61 to lead the Lady Mustangs.

Big Lake CC

The Mustang golfers competed in a three-team match at the Big Lake Country Club at Manila on Aug. 10.

Seth Hart shot a 49 for Hoxie, as the Mustangs posted a team score of 165 to finish second. Host Manila won the event with a score of 110.
