Signs intent to play

Walnut Ridge standout Alivia Hackworth has signed a letter of intent to play softball for the Lady Eagles next season.

During high school, Hackworth was All-Conference and had a .500 batting average and 25 stolen bases this past season.

In addition to softball Hackworth also played basketball and tennis.

She is a 2010 Walnut Ridge High School graduate and is the daughter of Jeff and Kelly Rider of Walnut Ridge and Steve Hackworth of Pocahontas.
