ENJOY LAST SESSION ~ The last session for the Lawrence County Library's summer reading program in Walnut Ridgewas held Tuesday. Arkansas Game and Fish Aquatic Resource Education Coordinator Jimmy Barnett spoke to children about Arkansas fish. Program participants, including cousins Malora Davis (foreground) and Devan Hensley, were shown different fish in the mobile aquarium. Davis is the daughter of Steven and Tammy Davis of Black Rock. Hensley is the son of Lin and Kelley Hensley of Pocahontas.

WRCC clubhouse now open

The Walnut Ridge Country Club has reopened. Club officials said the clubhouse was reopened late last week and that the swimming pool was expected to be open by the middle of this week. The golf course remains closed.
