Jacob Daniel Whitehorn, six months, is the grandson of Danny and Cindy Whitehorn of Pocahontas.
He is the son of Jason and Stephanie Whitehorn of Broken Arrow, Okla., and has one brother, Wyatt Whitehorn.

Boothe family

Hardworking and likeable are two words to describe the 2010 Lawrence County Farm Family of the Year, brothers Jeff and Terry Boothe and their families of Walnut Ridge. (Read about them in section B.) Their families include: Jeff and Christy Boothe, Adam, Shane and Jessica, Terry and Vicki Boothe and Kari, as well as Jeff and Terry's parents, Glenn and Edna Boothe.

Terry and Jeff's grandfathers, Ethan Dodd and Henan Boothe, both farmed, so apparently farming was in their blood. Jeff and Terry started farming on a small scale, but through hard work and good business decisions they now farm more than 2,000 acres, as well as raising more than 100 head of cattle on their farm at Smithville.

It is also evident that the Boothes enjoy having fun and spending time together. The Boothe family is a perfect example that our people are Lawrence County's greatest resource.
