Live-pitch league
completes season

The girls live-pitch softball league concluded its season on Friday at Stewart Park.

The Tigers defeated the Storm 7-3 in the final game.

For the Tigers' Sophie Rottinghus drew a walk in the second inning and scored on Baylee Burris' three-run homer. Madison Brumley had a hit in the third inning.

Lane Roberson had a hit for the Storm.

The Tigers defeated the Diamond Dolls 10-3 on Thursday.

For the Tigers, Serena Finley had a two-run single and scored a run in the first inning. Jarah Jones drew a walk.

Kelly Lee had a hit for the Diamond Dolls.

On June 8, the Tigers defeated the Diamond Dolls 8-6.

For the Tigers, Taylor Darris had a two-RBI hit in the second inning. Megan Jared recorded two outs on defensive plays in the inning.

For the Diamond Dolls, Zoey Treadway had a two-RBI hit in the third inning. Briley Henson had a triple and three RBIs. Pitcher Anna Wilcoxson caught a pop-up for an out.

The Storm defeated the Diamond Dolls 7-6 on June 7.

Emma Slusser had the game-winning hit for the Storm. Also for the Storm, Malorie Moore had a hit and scored a run, and Victoria Swartzlander scored a run.

For the Diamond Dolls, Sequoia Ervin had two hits and three RBIs, and Olivia Cox scored a run.

On June 4, the Diamond Dolls outscored the Tigers 10-7.

Angel Blair of the Diamond Dolls had a bases-loaded triple in the first inning. Cirsten Lee added a three-run single in the second.

For the Tigers, Kimberly Milgrim had two hits and two RBIs.

Final league standings were: the Storm, four wins and one loss; the Tigers, three wins and two losses; and the Diamond Dolls, one win and five losses.
