selected for games

Lawrence County will be well-represented in the Arkansas High School Coaches Association All-Star baseball and softball games later this month in Fayetteville.
Logan Gaither of Walnut Ridge High School and Derek Wooten of Hillcrest High School will compete for the East team, while Walnut Ridge coach Derek Bramlett will serve as an assistant coach for the East squad.
An All-Star baseball doubleheader will be played on June 22 at 5 p.m. at Baum Stadium on the University of Arkansas campus.
Miranda Doyle of Hillcrest and Staci Spargo of Walnut Ridge will compete for the East team in the softball All-Star game, which will take place on June 23 at 5 p.m. at UA's Bogle Park.
