Voters to decide races on Tuesday

Tuesday is Election Day, and several races are on the Democratic and Republican ballots. In addition, all voters will cast their votes in the non-partisan judicial races.
Locally, the Democratic ballot carries the races for county sheriff and county judge, as there are no Republican candidates. Three Democrats are also seeking the nomination for state representative, with the winner set to face Republican Chad Moseley in November. (See related articles on these races.)

The Arkansas Court of Appeals issued an opinion last Wednesday, May 5, upholding Circuit Judge Harold Erwin's granting of summary judgment for the City of Walnut Ridge and the Walnut Ridge Airport Commission in their lawsuit with the Walnut Ridge Golf Club.
