Hoxie beats Hillcrest

Hayden Defries registered four hits, as the Hoxie Mustangs defeated Hillcrest 11-1 in high school baseball Tuesday at Hoxie.

Also for Hoxie, Hunter Flippo had three hits, while Cade Crisler, Blake Snow and Garrett Hart had two hits apiece.

Seth Hart was the winning pitcher, allowing four hits in five innings and striking out two.

Kyle Bristow had two hits for Hillcrest.

Hoxie's season record improved to 10-9 with the win.
