Hillcrest boys defeat Zebras

The Hillcrest Screamin' Eagles defeated the Black Rock Zebras 15-5 in high school baseball on March 31 at Strawberry.

Black Rock jumped out to a 5-1 lead after two-and-one-half innings, only to see the Screamin' Eagles plate eight runs in the bottom of the third.

Hillcrest put the game away in the sixth inning, as Dylan Wooten and Derek Wooten each hit two-run home runs. Derek's blast gave the Eagles a 10-run lead and ended the game due to the run rule.

Derek Wooten finished 3-for-3 at the plate, with three RBIs. Dylan Wooten went 3-for-4 with three RBIs, and Trevor Morgan added two hits.
