Cats beat Midland

Walnut Ridge defeated Midland 11-2 in high school baseball Thursday at Walnut Ridge.

Curtis Jackson was the winning pitcher, allowing just four hits while striking out 10.

Logan Gaither and Heath Kennedy each batted 2-for-3 and drove in three runs for the Cats. Bennett Dudley had three hits and scored twice.

Walnut Ridge improved to 5-0 in 2A-2 conference play and 10-4 overall.
