S-H baseball earns victory

Sloan-Hendrix defeated Maynard 11-1 in high school baseball on March 9 at Imboden.

Aaron Higginbotham earned the five-inning complete-game victory, allowing just one hit while striking out eight.

At the plate, Justus Williams batted 2-for-2 with three RBIs, and Higginbotham went 2-for-3.

ICC

Izard County Consolidated defeated the Greyhounds 5-3 on March 8 at Imboden.

Higginbotham had two hits for the Greyhounds.
