Hoxie claims baseball winNathan HibbardStaff Writer The Hoxie Mustangs picked up their second win of the baseball season with a 15-0 shutout of Maynard on March 2. Cade Crisler earned the victory on the mound, allowing one hit and striking out six in three innings of work. At the plate, Tyler Clements batted 2-for-3 with three RBIs. Cade Crisler and Zach Crisler each had one hit and two RBIs. Jacob Defries had one hit and an RBI, and Hunter Flippo had a hit and scored two runs.
The Piggott Mohawks defeated Hoxie 8-3 in high school baseball Thursday at Hoxie.
