Taylor Johnson wins
Taylor Johnson won the title of Miss Bobcat 2010 at a pageant held Saturday night at the Walnut Ridge Community Center. Ten girls competed in the pageant, sponsored by the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) organization at Walnut Ridge High School.

Johnson, the daughter of Patrick and Lisa Johnson, also won the talent award for her vocal performance of "Let's Give Them Something to Talk About." She represented the senior class.
Cheyanne Stayton, representing journalism, was named first runner-up. She is the daughter of Jerry and Janie Stayton.
Kimi Lovelady, daughter of Charles and Natalie Lovelady, was named second runner-up. She also won the Miss Congeniality Award, given by Larry and Loretta Corbett in memory of their daughter, Monetta Corbett. Kimi represented the band in the pageant.
KAIT8's Lauren Payne served as emcee for the pageant, while dancers from Amber Hoffman's Main Street Dance and Holly Gill's Studio Dance provided entertainment. Carrie Massey, Miss Bobcat 2009 and a student at the U. of A. in Fayetteville, also provided entertainment throughout the evening.
On Saturday, younger divisions of the Miss Bobcat pageant were held. Winners are as follows:
Tiny Miss winner, Maggie Gibson, daughter of J.T. and Toni Gibson; first runner-up, Brooke Brown, daughter of Tommy and Jennifer Brown;
second runner-up (tie), Madison Paige Wade, daughter of Blake and Brandi Wade, and Skyla Henry, daughter of Aqualah and Amanda Henry.
Petite Miss winner, Sydney Burgin, daughter of Richie and Leslie Burgin; first runner-up, Emma Richey, daughter of Heath and Emily Richey; and second runner-up, Emmalee Whitlow, daughter of Scott and Dena Whitlow.
Little Miss winner, Baylee Haskins, daughter of Alan and Paula Haskins; first runner-up, Kelsey Pruett, daughter of Christy Ditto.
Young Miss winner, Hannah Anglin, daughter of Gina Anglin and Tony Anglin; first runner-up, Sidney Randall, daughter of John and Denise Cornell; and second runner-up, Hope Lemmons, daughter of Joey and Tammie Lemmons.
Junior Miss winner, Peyton Roberts, daughter of Amy Moore and Will Roberts; first runner-up, Sabrina Gaines, daughter of Mike and Tonya Gaines; and second runner-up, Brooke Midgett, daughter of Cathy Gonzales and Jeff Midgett.
Raelyne Massey, family consumer science instructor, is the FCCLA advisor.
