Miss Bobcat set at Walnut RidgeWalnut Ridge High School's annual Miss Bobcat pageant will be held on Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Walnut Ridge Community Center.
Eleven girls are registered to compete and will be judged in three categories including talent, interview and evening wear.
Contestants are: Taylor Johnson, senior class, daughter of Patrick and Lisa Johnson of Walnut Ridge; Vanessa Brawley, junior class, daughter of Keith and Donna Brawley of Walnut Ridge; Millissa Beaupre, FCCLA, daughter of Wayne Beaupre; Kimi Lovelady, band, daughter of Charles and Natalie Lovelady of Walnut Ridge; Anna Griffin, sophomore class, daughter of Justin and Melissa Griffin of Walnut Ridge.
Ashley Demitriou, FFA, daughter of Lemuel and Lissa Grady of Hoxie; Cheyanne Stayton, journalism, daughter of Jerry and Janie Stayton of Walnut Ridge; Jacquelynn Reeves, annual staff, daughter of Jimmy and Julie Baker of Walnut Ridge; Whitney Ward, student council, daughter of John and Betty Ward of Walnut Ridge; Sarah Tribble, science, daughter of Charlie and Brandy Wilson of Walnut Ridge; and Christy Brandon, freshman class, granddaughter of Deborah Colly of Walnut Ridge.
Admission will be $4 for students and $5 for adults. All proceeds will benefit the Walnut Ridge Family Career and Community Leaders of America.
The Tiny Miss, Petite Miss, Little Miss, Young Miss and Junior Miss Bobcat pageants will also be held Saturday starting at 2 p.m. for girls in pre-school through eighth grade.
