Cavenaugh to run
for state representative

Ronald Cavenaugh of Walnut Ridge has formally announced his candidacy as a Democrat for state representative District 73.

Cavenaugh is a lifelong resident of Lawrence County, graduating in 1970 from Walnut Ridge High School and in 1975 from Arkansas State University with a bachelor of science degree in agriculture. He and his wife, Kathy, have two daughters, Andrea and Katelin.

"As a small business owner and farmer, I understand the challenges involved in this economic climate," Cavenaugh said. "I will work hard to make our communities a better place to raise our youth, improve the quality of life for our seniors and all of our citizens, help small businesses expand and create jobs and secure additional investments for infrastructure."

Anyone with questions or concerns can call Cavenaugh at 870-926-3185 or e-mail him at rcaven@suddenlinkmail.com.
