WR boys earn two road wins

Bennett Dudley scored 28 points to lead the Walnut Ridge Bobcats to a 63-60 victory over the Midland Mustangs in senior boys basketball Jan. 26 at Pleasant Plains.

The Bobcats trailed 31-26 at halftime, but outscored the Mustangs 22-9 in the third quarter to take a 48-40 lead into the final period.

Chris Dickson added 18 points for Walnut Ridge.

Junior boys

Range Weeks scored 18 points to lead the Walnut Ridge junior high boys to a 49-22 victory over Midland.

Salem

The Walnut Ridge senior boys earned a 59-44 road victory at Salem on Jan. 25.

Dudley had 19 points, while Curtis Jackson and Dickson each added 12 points for the Bobcats.
