Bobcats rally to
beat Cedar Ridge
The Walnut Ridge senior boys outlasted Cedar Ridge going on a 13-6 run in the final quarter to post a 52-50 win on Friday.

Walnut Ridge had led 16-12 at the end of the first quarter before falling behind 31-28 at the half and 44-39 at the end of the third period.
The Cats were led by Chris Dickson with 18 points. Bennett Dudley added 14.
In senior girls action, the Lady Bobcats fell to Cedar Ridge 62-42.
Alivia Hackworth scored 18 points to lead Walnut Ridge, and Daniel Vaughn added 10.
The junior Cats posted a 30-28 win over Cedar Ridge, while the Lady Timberwolves prevailed in the junior girls game, 43-20.
The Lawrence County Basketball Tournament, which will be hosted by Black Rock, will begin Saturday with seventh-grade action. Junior and senior high games kick off on Monday with the finals scheduled for Friday, Feb. 5, and Saturday, Feb. 6.
BR nips Ridgefield Christian
The Black Rock senior boys, led by Tadd Fore with 21 points, defeated Ridgefield Christian 48-42 Friday night in Jonesboro.
Hoxie teams split
The Hoxie Mustangs suffered a heart-breaking loss on Friday as they fell to Rivercrest 68-54 after point guard Zach Crisler was injured in the final moments of the first half.
Hillcrest sweeps Norfork
Dylan Wooten scored 20 points, including 10-of-12 from the free-throw line, to lead the Hillcrest senior boys to a 54-43 win over Norfork on Friday.
