Hoxie beats Tuckerman

The Hoxie Mustangs won a pair of basketball games at Tuckerman on Dec. 1.

Cade Crisler scored 26 points, and Coy Yasler added 23, as the senior high boys defeated the Bulldogs 76-40.

The Mustangs were in command from the outset, leading 27-16 after one quarter, and 46-30 at halftime. Hoxie limited Tuckerman to just two points in the third quarter to take a 67-32 lead into the final period, which was played under the mercy rule.

Cade Crisler also recorded eight assists, and Yasler grabbed 11 rebounds for the Mustangs. Zach Crisler finished with 15 points, four steals and four assists.

Junior high

The Hoxie junior Mustangs defeated Tuckerman 55-50.

Seth Hart and Jacob Defries each scored 17 points for Hoxie.
