Cats drop final

The loss dropped the Bobcats into the third position for the conference's playoff seeds. Walnut Ridge will travel to Woodlawn, located at Rison, for a playoff game on Friday.
Zebras defeat Buffalo IslandBlack Rock defeated Buffalo Island Central 65-33 on homecoming night in senior boys basketball Friday at Black Rock.
Joe Paul Carey led the Zebras with 16 points. Tadd Fore had 11 points and seven assists, and Tyler Newell added 11 points.
Hoxie football team
The Harrisburg Hornets claimed a share of the 3A-3 conference championship with a 39-12 victory over the Hoxie Mustangs Friday night at Crider Field.
ends season with loss
Harrisburg jumped out to an early lead, with two first-quarter touchdowns. Joe Bornhoft scored on a five-yard run with 4:38 to play in the quarter, and quarterback Zach Davis passed nine yards to Turner Norsworthy for another score with 22 seconds remaining. Harrisburg converted a pair of two-point attempts and held a 16-0 lead at the end of the opening period.
S-H sweeps Twin RiversSloan-Hendrix defeated the Twin Rivers Panthers 62-34 in senior boys basketball Nov. 3 at Imboden.
Tyler Gillean scored 13 points, and Daniel Rowsey had 12 for the Greyhounds.
Hillcrest boys beat Calico Rock
The Hillcrest Screamin' Eagles defeated Calico Rock 60-45 in senior boys basketball Thursday night at Lynn.
Derek Wooten led Hillcrest with 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Dylan Wooten added 12 points and six assists. Logan Spray had 11 rebounds for the Eagles.
