Hillcrest boys beat Bulldogs

A 21-8 scoring advantage in the third quarter proved decisive, as the Hillcrest Screamin' Eagles defeated Tuckerman 65-56 in senior boys basketball on Oct. 27 at Tuckerman.

Three Hillcrest players recorded double-doubles, led by Derek Wooten's 18 points and 13 rebounds. Logan Spray scored 13 points and had 10 rebounds, and Dylan Wooten had 15 points and 10 assists. Trevor Morgan scored 12 points for the Eagles.

The Tuckerman junior high boys defeated Hillcrest 55-35.

Senior girls

In the senior girls game, Tuckerman outlasted the Lady Screamin' Eagles 46-43.
