Hillcrest boys earn win

The Hillcrest senior boys entertained a homecoming crowd with a 50-28 rout of the Weiner Cardinals on Saturday at Lynn.

Derek Wooten had 17 points and 10 rebounds, and Trevor Morgan scored 12 points for the Screamin' Eagles.

The Hillcrest junior high boys defeated Weiner 48-38.

Twin Rivers

The Hillcrest boys opened the basketball season with 75-44 victory over Twin Rivers on Oct. 20 at Strawberry.

Derek Wooten had 14 points, while Dylan Wooten added nine. Logan Spray and Trenton Neeley each scored eight points.
