Irvin recorded his third touchdown of the game on a 10-yard run in the third period. Devin Roberts added a 38-yard touchdown run in the final period for the Mustangs.

"I was proud of the way we executed in all areas of the game on an extremely muddy field. I thought we took a step forward in the way we want to play," said Hoxie head coach Tom Sears.

In addition to Irvin, Williamson rushed for 96 yards on eight attempts. Colton Bennett rushed four times for 35 yards. Garrett Hart had two carries for 27 yards. Anglin had three carries for 14 yards, and Kyle Boyd carried once for one yard.
